: In large bowl, stir all dry ingredients together; set aside.

: With electric mixer on medium speed, cream butter and both sugars. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla, sweetened condensed milk and applesauce.

: Reduce speed to low, and slowly add dry ingredients mixing just until smooth. Gently fold in apples.

: Pour batter into greased, non stick or paper lined muffin cups. Bake in preheated 325°F/160°C oven until center of muffins bounce back when lightly touched, about 16-20 minutes. Remove muffins from pan and cool on wire rack.
