: Combine sweetened condensed milk and chocolate; cook and stir over low heat just until boiling. Cook and stir for 2 to 3 minutes more or until mixture thickens. Remove from heat.

: Stir in vanilla. Stir in 2 cups (500 mL) cookie crumbs.

: Spread evenly into parchment paper-lined 8" (2 L) square baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs and candies or nuts; press down gently with back of spoon. Cover and chill 4 hours or until firm. Cut into squares. (Store covered in refrigerator.)
