: Beat Eagle Brand, egg, butter and vanilla until well blended.

: Combine dry ingredients; add to egg mixture; beat well. Beat additional 1 minute at high speed. Stir in raisins, if using. Cover; chill about 1 hour.

: Drop by heaping teaspoonfuls onto parchment paper-lined or lightly- greased baking sheets. Bake in preheated 350°F (180°C) oven 6 to 8 minutes or until set. Cool 1 minute on baking sheets; remove and cool completely. Store tightly covered.
